Powering Personalized Patient Care

HIMSS 2020 Canceled
March 9-13 | Orlando, FL

After careful consideration, NantHealth has decided we will not attend the 2020 HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) conference taking place in Orlando, March 9-13. We value our participation at industry events and our relationship with the HIMSS organizers and community, and we respect the steps they have taken to protect attendees. Given that Florida has declared a Public Health Emergency, we feel that the most responsible decision is to withdraw our participation to safeguard our employees and partners.

Visit Our Use Cases in the Intelligent Health Pavilion

NantHealth is a sponsor of the HIMSS 2020 Intelligent Health Pavilion (IHP) where the company is featuring its solutions across the following use case scenarios.

Use cases featuring AirStrip ONE

  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Paperless Documentation of Cardiac Rhythm Strips: AirStrip ONE is enhancing the documentation process of ECGs by reducing and eliminating the physical supply costs and associated time of cutting, pasting and the scanning of printed materials. These enhancements can lead to increased availability and efficiency in the documentation of ECG strips in near real-time within the ICU.
  • Labor and Delivery: The AirStrip ONE app is used to streamline communication among clinicians, which enables timely responses for Labor and Delivery encounters. AirStrip provides anywhere, anytime access for physicians to review patient data. It enables physicians to make a visual interpretation, engage in collaborative discussion and share clinical context using the app, and render an opinion on safe and effective patient management, all on their mobile devices for immediate review and decision-making at the moment of care.
  • BioMed: AirStrip ONE is being used to perform advanced waveform analysis to provide timely identification of prolonged QT/QTc intervals to aid in the early detection of arrhythmias in patients. Up to this point, clinicians manually placed fiducial points using calipers to derive measurement data. AirStrip has now introduced a Computer Aided Precision Cardiac Waveform Analysis function replacing the Manual Process with a mathematical algorithm that automatically places those fiducial points (P-QRS-T). AirStrip uses a Machine Learning (ML) approach to continuously improve the algorithm, which today is approaching 90% plus accuracy and it is expected to reach close to 100% in the near future with the use of Artificial Intelligence for continuous improvement.
  • iHome: Through its Monitoring Necklace, AirStrip ONE can play a valuable role in the early identification of complications of progressive diseases in at-risk patients in the hospital and at home by providing aggregated patient data from disparate systems that corresponds to a specific health condition such as congestive heart failure. It helps clinicians proactively track patient progress outside of the hospital walls and reduce the need for costly re-hospitalization if left unaddressed until their follow-up appointment. The necklace contains non-invasive sensors that can measure key clinical parameters at home.
